San Francisco Makes Solar Mandatory

San Francisco passed landmark legislation that requires all new buildings under 10 storeys to be fitted with rooftop solar panels. Canada is not far behind, though. For example, Ontario’s five-year Climate Change Action Plan has set out a rebate program that rewards new build homes with above-average energy efficiency.
